I believe there's a song out there to speak to every part of your soul and life. I can’t even tell you how many "favorite songs" I have, but some come and go as life changes. However, the voice of some stay strong like an old friend, no matter how much you go through together – there is that constant, that bond that ebbs and flows with the comforting lapping of the gentle waves along the sandy beach. There are songs that invoke a stirring and knowing within just a few notes…bringing you to that feeling.

The song Nothing More, by the Alternative Routes, has both uplifting notes and words that almost sound and feel like something from the 1960s; they smoothly call forth humanitarian ideals of peace and love.

I love the theme of we are throughout this song. It seems like it would have also been an appropriate title for the song. The word we implies togetherness, group, or inclusion. It is a validation of two or more in unison.

While this song actually has its own inspiring conception I think it's best to listen to what it means in your life. When the day is done, were you love - were you one? Did you leave the workplace or your home better than you found it? When the day was done, did you love as one?
