What if Your Faith Gets Bigger Than Your Fear?

During this beautiful season of hope, let yourself inhale with the conviction of faith and exhale the doubt and fear. This will look different for each of us depending on our circumstances, experiences, and perceptions. I just heard the saying a few weeks ago on the radio – when your doubt creates a mountain, your faith can move it.
How many times, even during the course of a day, do we ‘create mountains out of molehills?’ It is typically the small stuff that so easily lends itself to our drama thoughts of gloom. Quite often, these are the ‘what-ifs’ that keep us stuck and eventually perpetuate an even worse situation for us.
But what if -
What if your truths could overcome your doubts? Recognize your doubts objectively and look at any fear they may be based in. Do not give these doubts the power to make you overwrought…rest assured you can overcome.
What if your faith can bring even a glimmer of hope to your darkness? Seize the light and shine that love to move even one dark cloud. If you reach out and ask for help you can move another. What if you could move forward in faith rather than fear? Focusing with faith and that strong conviction of certainty can propel you forward with that ‘beyond the shadow of a doubt’ confidence.
What if your faith can get you even one step up your mountain? We have heard that a journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step. The more steps we can take in faith from there - the further away we are from the fear it was created in. By now we could be halfway up the mountain with a totally different perspective.
What if you could stand unshakable in your faith? What if your faith was anchored in certainty? It is the uncertain times that seem to cause our faith to be shaken. But we can choose for those times to be awakened!
I love the refrain in the song, Thrive; by Casting Crowns…
Joy unspeakable, faith unsinkable, love unstoppable, anything is possible…
So…what if your faith could get bigger than your fear?... In my next blog, I will share some beautiful insights of hope that will both soften and stir that knowing in your soul.
...always be the love that you are
