Hummus


Base Ingredients;
1 16 oz can of beans* Chickpeas*Cannellini Beans*White beans*
Black beans , drained(save juice if desired)
2-3 tablespoons lemon( or lime) juice (lime best with “hot” flavors)
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed prior to blending(roast them if too strong for your taste)
1 tablespoons tahini
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
How to Prepare: Drain and rinse beans. Combine all ingredients except oil in blender, food processor, or hand blender. Blend for 3-5 minutes on low, drizzling oil in slowly until mixed and smooth. If you like lumps, leave them in! (Add your personal choice of flavorings…if desired)
What else?: Your choice of : Crushed red pepper* Cumin *chipotle* Small piece of Jalapeno pepper *Roasted red pepper *Sundried tomatoes *Beets * Ginger* parsley* green olives *Horseradish...whatever you desire!

Chia Pudding

Cranberry, orange, clove, and almond milk

Base Ingredients: 1/4 cup chia seeds: (add more chia seeds if you like your pudding thicker) 1 cup “milk” choice *almond milk *rice milk* coconut milk* hemp milk* any combination of the above
Add-on options: Combine base recipe ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Fold in ingredients of your flavor choice below….or create your own! You know what you like!)

What else?: (flavor choices)
* ½ cup canned organic pumpkin(cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg)
* 1 tsp. cacoa powder(few dashes cinnamon) * ½ cup of cranberries(cooked down or canned); juice and pulp of ½ orange; (1/4 tsp cinnamon and dash of ground clove *Cooked and cooled fruit…seasonal, and ripe(the ones you may almost consider tossing!) *Homemade jelly
** Cover and refrigerate for at least 2- 3 hours so that chia gels. It will keep for 4-5 days depending on what ingredients you chose.
